First there came the great Jake Hulsey upon the scene in texas
quickly followed by the amazing Larry Vigus

both took the pool scene by storm with fresh designs, quality work and great finishes
that showed off the work

Neither one of these guys were in it for the money, they both had good careers and families, they wouldn't take orders and that made us want the cues even more

Now along comes a third cue maker with the same dedication to making
a groovy cue that features quality parts and attention to detail

not taking orders because he wants to retain control of his time designs and
who knows what these guys are thinking

At any rate,he made his first one and I got it

22 ounces because I discovered that heavy cues are easier to play with

At any rate I got numero uno, also the only one, noit just first but an amazing beautiful cue

Larry Vigus will post a picture for us if you guys will hold off and leave the space open

No it is not for sale,I am in the right place

let the oohs and aah begin

I appreciate the kind words Dean. Here are a couple of pictures.

I would like this picture better if the cue were lying on a towel or blanket.

That being said it is a very nice looking cue. Thanks for posting.

Kevin

the bed of the pick up truck already has some scratches, so not sure a towel is necessary?

But agree 100$, very nice looking cue!

I'm going to have to ask Larry to borrow one of his towels next time.

That does it

All of the cues Dean gets lately are either 6 feet long, steel joints, 22 oz
or more, no wrap, and on and on with things I don't like. Coincidence.
I don't think so. He knows full well what I like to borrow for a few months.
I'm thinking that maybe these cues aren't really that heavy or long or
what not, and this is all just a con designed to keep me away. Well I just
might call his bluff and borrow it anyway.

Jack Potter, the architech of the Libra cues, has been my friend since
he was in the 9th grade.

He and I were just 2 of a group of some 5 to 10 kids that loved pool and gambling.

Jack is the hardest guy in the world to get to buy a cue,he just borrows mine
and plays with them until he wants another one

Now he suspects that I am buying long cues and heavy cues in order to
make them less desirable to him.Or even that the cues actually are standard and that I would actually describe them as long and heavy.

I actually have been experimenting with long and heavy cues.I personally really
like them, one of the best things is that jack likes 57>5 inches and 19 oz

Therefore I get to actually keep my own cues, added bonus

And since Jack is not winning me any money any more, why should I
care if he has a nice cue

back to this shelby cue,it is so solid, the work is so nice, the cue is quality, class Aplus

The cue is not for sale and it would do no good to make me an offer less than $1000,
but that doesn't mean I would not entertain an offer
