Up for sale is a Unique Products Taper Shaper cue making lathe. This machine will taper butts or shafts, cut point grooves and you can make ring billets. Here are links to the Unique site for the machine and its options.

Included in this sale is the optional quiet router high-speed (single speed) spindle and dust enclosure, drill chuck/adapter and the miscellaneous items you see in the pictures. Current retail for all of this is just north of $4k.
The machine is in very good shape and everything works correctly. One of the pictures shows a 4-point forearm that I completed this past weekend. The only issue is that one of the rubber feet was stripped off during shipping to me a couple of years ago. I never took the time to re-tap the hole and re-attach it. I just let the machine rest on the foot.
The only reason I am selling is that I don't have time use the machine as much as I would like. And, I can't justify the investment just sitting there collecting dust. Jim and Brian, at Unique, are great guys to work with and will stand 100% behind their machines; always taking time to explain how they work and what you need to do to perform any of their intended operations.
If you are interested, please PM me to talk about the price. I can also send higher-resolution pictures if you email me at sroberson42@hotmail.com.
Please don't flame me for wanting to handle pricing through PM/email. I really don't want to get into a discussion in this thread on Unique's retail, my resale, whether cue lathes are overpriced in general, etc. On second thought.... flame me if you want, because I'm still going to do it this way.
SOLD, pending payment. Thanks everyone.
