Here is Don's new Varney Hoppe style cue. Complete with no bumper...Don likes the old school bumper delete style and believes it makes the cues hit better. He sent me his favorite 314 to use & I made him a high performance Varney to match his 314. Enjoy Don! A pleasure doing business with you sir.:)

What is the wood in the butt forearm? I really like the old hoppe style look. I do think the hit is a little different. You just need to remember to rest the cue on your foot

This cue has a very stunning look with that wood combination, and incredible finish

A very, very old piece of cocobola. Thank you for the kind words sir.:)
The Varney shaft features a 1/2" low deflection Saber T ferrule as per Don's request & a Kamui tip. The shaft specs match the 314 perfectly.
Its indeed a real player. His 1 hole buddies may not like it much.:D

Thanks Kevin, The Cue Looks Awesome

very nice cue i like the lack of a buttcap.

Buttplugs are over rated. Esp if you play on carpet.

There's something to be said about how cues feel and sound w/o butt plugs.

Perhaps a maker would care to expound on this...

Very nice looking cue and I bet it is a monster player.
Will have to talk to you one day about a hoppe for me as well since my line-up of cues are in fact hoppes.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Excellent work, another nice looking new Varney player. You can really tell that those wood grains will produce a nice stiff hit.

I love the way it looks and cues without a bumper always have a bunch of plus points for me - they look way more elegant. Very nice indeed.

> Kev,let me tell you something in all honesty. I've looked at pics of every cue of yours that has been posted here, and this is without question your nicest cue yet, although I have nothing bad to say about the others. This cue just kicks ass. Tommy D.
