I've had the pleasure of working with Lee on some cues I wanted and thought I would share some in progress photos.

I approached Lee to see if he would be interested in making a Bushka tribute as seen in this post: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=176309
I would be changing the veneer colors and some inlays, but it was along those lines.
Straight Grain Maple
Ebony Sleeve
silver ring work
Ivory ring above handle
I wanted it with a leather wrap and 60" long...both things I have never used before. The problem was that I didn't want to make an investment in a cue with all those inlays and find that I don't like the longer length and/or leather wrap. So Lee made a bare bones version of the cue in the above picture for me to experiment with before I gave the green light on having one made with the points, veneers, inlays, etc.
These were the first photos he shared with me after the stick was together (you can see Lee holding on a piece of leather in some of these photos):
And here are three photos after a few more passes (it hasn't received it's epoxy coat yet)...with an old growth rock maple shaft. I'm still deciding on a ferrule material so the shaft does not have one at this point:
I'm loving it so far!
Next up...the break cue I'm having Lee make...
