I need two things:
An EW cue and a test group.

(I had this idea long ago with a different maker in mind, but I was quite new to the forum)

Ed,...build a player.Hit the average specs ect. Then ship it out to the real players on this forum.

10 players max with the tenth returning the cue to you.

Each to cover the shipping to the next man until it gets home...back to you for sale again.

No harm or foul and you will get the some players looking ....OR never looking again.

I'd like to make the list, but I don't have too....

I suspect EW will be game..I just need nine others to pay shipping cost to move it on.And I need Ed to have some faith in his work as well as the members here to return the cue.

Who're the real players

lol..I suppose we all have our own estimations.I'd also guess EW does as well.

When I say real players,I mean folks heaps and bounds better the me....

i'd like to suggest scott lee and deadon (if they're interested that is) i've hit balls around with deadon and he can play and hes played with enough cues to judge fairly. he's got a pretty nice collection

that's a pretty good idea for any cuemaker actually.

i hear 12squared is a great player.i know Bryan Fisher dabs it a little and Nineball is an up and comer.i am sure there are many more

60% of the time, I beat the 3 ball ghost every time

Ed,this is my last post in this thread without a reply from you.

I'm game...
Ill hit it and ship it is what I mean.

I realize I just put you on the hotseat, but I didn't find you in a phone book. You found us.

(edited to say...this edit button lets me be wrong) lol

yeah right dude, three balls in order is way tough

I bet Mr. Wheat makes a very good cue.

Hope it's a full-splice, and the shaft made of hard rock maple doesn't produce too much cue ball squirt. Also hope the resonance in the butt is pleasing. And the balance, well, it'll most likely be alright.

Question is, how will he manage to satisfy everyone? He just might...

Hope he does.

Great idea.
Fortunately I have some loaners out there.
Which are now being held hostage till I make them cues.
Lowlifes.

I'd have no problem with doing this #1 if I had time, no time to play.

#2 and since I'm a cuemaker, I think I might be alittle critical and might look past the point of this, too many things too consider when testing a cue from my stand point. Hit and feel are #1 in my book, 2nd being construction, then fit and finish. When it comes to "players" cues. I think potential customers and other well known forum members would be a better choice than my self.

Thank you for your consideration Mason.
