Shane beats a stellar field including Ko Pin Yi, Appleton, Haitao, etc.to be 1st to repeat wins at Party Poker World Masters!

Shane was dominant over Liu and Darren.
For a while Darren was that 300 lbs. gorilla on Shane's back - this win is a huge confidence booster no doubt.

Playing with what appears to be a new cue - maybe he retired his old cuetec? Shane was unstoppable.

Congrats to Shane - world pool master once again. he isn't just a world champion - he is a world Master!

What a great match this was!

Congrats to Shane, well played

Hopefully this will come in Youtube for those who werent able to view it live as this is a match for the ages. It had everything in my opinion that the modern pool has to offer

Shane romps over Masters field...

Shane terminated China's number 1 ranked player Lieu Haitao 8-0 and it only Shane
27 minutes to do it in the semi-final. Then he defeated in similar fashion World #2
ranked England's Darrel Appleton 8-2! Shane is back:thumbup:

I only got to watch the final today and wish it had lasted a little longer....but glad to see Shane win. Players shorts and the venue looked great, thst is what pro pool tournaments should be like!

Surprised to see Shane with a new butt instead of his heavily worn black one. Wonder what it is, didn't look like it had the steel joint of his old one.

Shanes new UFO jump cue?

It happened in a flash and I don't know really what I saw when Shane was left with a very close jump shot that looked to be a guaranteed foul shot but nevertheless he pulled out this metallic looking silver "star wars" looking cylindrical shaft and then proceeded to make contact with the ball and fire it across the table and into the side pocket quickly
disposing of the remaining balls on the table and snatching another win from the jaws of
defeat while playing the Daz in the final of the Party Poker World Masters tournament:cool:

An American shooting lights out with a white Cuetec? Rings a bell...
Congrats Shane, finally playing up to his level also outside the US.

he didn't retire his cuetec cue, in fact he is using the Earl Strickland Series from the 90's, if you watch Earl 90's match when he was using a white cue, thats exactly the same cuetec shane now using except he's using his own shaft with it and ofcourse his extension at the end.

Great observation.
I remember hearing Shane was offered big money for his old cue, the black one with the paint all chipped off it near the joint. He turned it down so it must have some sentimental value.
After his cues were temporarily lost by an airline recently, maybe he made the switch because he doesn't want to lose it once and for all.

I'm sure Mark Griffin worked behind the scenes to insure Shane's victory. I didn't see any of the tournament but was Shane rigging the rack ? , or did they pay someone to rack ? I guess this is where Mark came in or his Mini-Me . Wait till the truth comes out that Shane was actually using Meucci.

A very public offer of $10,000 cash for the very cue, a battered production Cuetec

Darren not happy lol
