In need of new slate for 9' Gold Crown 1.

Bought a used table from a guy and the slate was badly cracked and hidden with patch. Im looking to either buy just the middle piece of a 3 piece set of slate or the whole set of slate. Have the table 80% assembled and waiting to find new slate. Local table mechanic attempted to fix the cracks with bees wax but couldn't due to severity of cracks. Im in Elgin Illinois. Can travel to surrounding states for the right set. Hope to hear back so I can get to playing on my table! Thanks for reading.

Two options I know of. I bought a new set of brazilian slate from Ken Hash for my GC1. He may have some used sets but didn't at the time I was looking. Check his site here and give him a call.

The other option I explored was to get a new set from here:

The price was roughly the same but I saved the shipping costs by picking they up from Classic Billiards.

Others may be aware of different options but that's what I got.
