Bob,

This is one that Dean is going to really relish. He is going to love the rings and with the wrap,
this cue could have stepped right out of a time machine from the 60'-70's era of cue-making.

Matt B.

p.s. Thanks again for my cues.

what a pleasure to see the cue of my dreams and comments from Matt
at the same time

In all the hub bub that goes on here
I am reminded how new friendships can be made here too

I had Bob make me two of these cues
one with blue ,the other with green acrylic
this is the blue cue, blue veneer with blue acrylic
i haven't seen the green, but as of now
The blue is perfect

that Greg Antinokas gave me from some
another friend i met here

I forgot to compliment Bob on his work
This cue has everything the way I like

often I get a cue that i would say is perfect
if this were different or that was put here

But this cue is 100% perfect for me

i ordered 2 of these with the idea of selling one
and keeping one

blue or green makes no difference to me

Bob went out on his own to make the beautiful joint rings

I like the matching Irish linen (still my favorite)

so if someone wants to p before Bob sends both to Dallas

old stock from George Balabushka's shop

Just talked to Bob,the other cue has a steel joint and a slightly different pattern
featuring Mother of pearl

where as this has some very expensive Ivory Substitute, with visible grain

I forgot I wanted to have a variety

The green is more like a Balabushka than this blue one

hold on a minute

What kind of ferrules, what length, shaft size, etc. As you know all of this
is very important to me and will play a big part in my decision on which one
to borrow first. And another thing, lets stop all this talk about selling one
before I've even tried them out. Doesn't matter to YOU which one you keep,
well it just might matter to me for crying out loud.

Cues

That is going to be a great pair of cues. I like the fact that the Green one will have it's own look. What are the weights on them?

for those of you who don't know jackpot
he is Jack Potter, the builder of the Libra cues that are so hard to find these days

jack and i have been friends since he was in high school
back in 1961.

this entitles me to lend him cues from time to time,
why should he ever buy when he can play for free

i was afraid he might see these cues before somebody
bought one

please pick a cue before Jack decides he needs one
i know he has been wanting a bob owen cue
