Vintage Unkown Pool Cue Please help

I'm no expert, but...

..aren't the windows incorrectly placed for a good cue?

I thought about that as well..could it be that its one of his first cues? 1971? whwn he was experimenting? Lol I wish I could talk to him

The ivory chain link is perfect. The windows r cut perfectly square. In the letter it mentions let hat back then he didn't use very good glue and that it needed to redone. I don't know if someone redid it. The butt is perfect as if it was refinished and maybe they didn't line them up?

Or if anybody has a way to contact him? and ask him to visit this page forum? and confirm its his? I know it's pushing it but I'm so curious to know the year it was built and if it is indeed his? It's beautiful. It reminds me of one of burton Spain cues. I love the chain work and windows.
I had one 3 years ago. I found his address in the back of the Blue Book of pool cues 3rd edition. I think he moved and don't recall the phone number. I wished I had kept that cue!
