Just received a new Players Pure X series cue wrappless with 11.75 skinny shaft. I was worried a little about how I'd like the shaft because it still uses a pro taper, but I loved it on the 7ft tables for 8 and 9 ball. Even a 7ft power draw did't feel whippy. Anybody looking for a cheap production cue, include this in your search. I have a Z2 that I love, but in the bars always bring the HXT just in case, and feel no disadvantage. I do like the euro taper a little more for 9ft. tables, but the HXT is absolutely playable there too. Also don;t forget it comes with a Kamui Black Soft!
