Howdy just picked up a 8 ft table,from what I googled it is a table from the 60s ,it was at a rec center and they wanted it gone asap,I was 1st to go see it so I purchased .I used old simonis fr now and it plays solid ,and ball rolls smooth ,it does need the ball tray so ill be looking to buy and possibly restore ,here are pics ...

Btw i have cheap 9 ft as well and this 8ft table was heavier to move ,also i think this was a table made fr home use as read in Brunswick website
