I'd be happy to be one here in the main forum. If you would PM the details and/or guidelines.

Hungarian, not to start an argument, specially in a Sticky.

If you spent a bit of time at NPR, getting to know the guys who hang there, that might change your opinion a bit.

Granted, there are heated discussions everyday. No one breaks any serious rules, no name calling etc. Really well behaved for the most part. At the end of the day, no one hates each other.

The last time that Dave was over, other than the odd joke in the joke or Music Threads, was not long ago, and that was to give none other than Coco a warning.

I think that speaks volumes right there.

Besides, I don't believe that they are asking for, as you said, anyone that feels that they can or the need to clean up any particular Forum on AZ, Guns Ablaze. That's not particularly what Moderation is about.

AZB is making a few changes for the future, trying new things in the Sale Forum and probably planning the need for a couple of extra Moderators to handle the expansion in other areas.

The Machinery and Cue maker Forums are self Moderating as are some of the others. The only other one that I do frequent is the Main. Pretty quiet most days around there as well, but about the only one that one needs to be a little vigilant on occasion.

Up till now, Dave has pretty much been a one man show and it must get a bit old sometimes. Nice to take a break and have someone
watch the house.

Myself, I think its just a little planning ahead for expansion in the near future. Not like a Special AZB Strike Force or anything.

Yeah. Besides, we need him in the Funny Forum.

Or it would be real slow.

He could Moderate the Funny Forum. Be pretty boring tho. Never seen a fight there yet.

Almost once, but not quite. Like, how the heck does one start a scrap in the Funny/Gif Thread.

You missed the irony and humor in my original post. And thanks for the invite but I have no interest in NPR. It's the same old ad nauseam arguments and debates by people who feel the need to throttle other people in a forum who they likely don't even know.

Majority of the time it's racially charged and/or narrow minded or it's a copy and paste news feed and then beat the living shit out of each other debating it....not my style.

Plus, I'm too open minded for most of the NPR regulars and don't have the will to argue until blue in the face.

I will say there are a few balanced and humane individuals who frequent the NPR section that I do respect and you Sir are one of them.

Happy Holidays..

Thanks for that Hung. I didn't mean to be rude or hurt your feelings. I would rather make people laugh.

You have a right to your opinion of NPR. I ventured over there some time ago despite many cracks re NPR.

I find that most of the people are very decent over there. Racially charged, I don't know.
Guys copy and paste the daily current events. That's one of the reasons why I like it.

So, you're going to get the flavor of the week. If that happens to be Ferguson, then it is.

But hey, wanna see some real meat balls. Check out the Sons of Anarchy Face Book page.

But that's good as I was hoping you were joking about NPR for the most part.

BTW, just so you guys know, I was an undercover Mod in the Main forum at one time.

Yep, for about 5 seconds. Hahaha. I was about to send someone a Green rep. I clicked on send, and instead of getting the regular message that one usually gets, the Screen flashed and I got a message that I imagine a Mod gets, re deleting certain threads.

Set me back a bit and before I could read the entire message, Poof, it was gone. But man, It felt good, for a couple of seconds.

It was like a brief lightening bolt from the sky, so I took that as a message from Above.

God wants me to be a Forum Moderator.

I nominate Terry (BHR) for an exalted position as Forum Moderator in the NPR Section.
He is very "down to earth" and as level headed as most any other member posting there.

Its called debating the issues.
A bit more interesting than discussing achieving a proper stroke, how to clean your shaft and polish your balls.
Of course I would suspect that you are an expert in that subject matter.

See Coco. It's not about Power. If a person has Moderator under their name, and they feel more Powerful or act like it, then they shouldn't have Mod under their name.

JB, has proven many times that he can't abide by the simple Rules of Conduct for these forums.

Lately, he has wished bodily harm on at least one member, if not two.

Plus bad mouthing and criticizing our own Forum Moderator on his personal Face Book page.

Not exactly Moderator material. If you have to view it as being a Judge, which it really shouldn't be, then at least a Judge is, or should be fair, impartial and unbiased.

I started this shit and have to own it now. Hung is a decent person and probably would learn to be a good Moderator.

I carried it over to NPR because that is where I hang my hat mostly these days.

It's more than just arguing Politics over there. One has to get to know the people there a little before you would understand they are good people as well.

I thought it funny that we needed straightening out. At the end of my post in NPR, I even said that I hoped that Hung was just joking.

For example, there is a member in NPR that is always posting re his non existent love life and problems.

Most of the members take time out to offer advice and help him.

Now, should he have posted the same Threads in the main, he would be instantly jumped, called a NIT among other things and probably be chased from the Forums entirely.

Thats what I mean when I say that most of the people in NPR are decent in the long run. We also helped another member whos Father was down on his luck and didn't have money for a pair of new work boots.

We collected enuff money for 2 pair. The member is a good guy as well and usually posts in the Main. Now the question would be, if he needed a hand for his Father, why did he choose us instead of the members in the Main.

I know why, but many don't.

Oh, and we have, thanks to Sev, one thread entirely dedicated to BACON. How strong is that?

I have 12+ years experience/ownership running forums larger than this one....with that, have developed very thick skin and patience, along with the ability to be impartial. If its not supermod status being granted, but rather section mod status, I'd take the main section or NPR, those are pretty much the only 2 sections I follow.

Very seldom I join a forum that I can stand to be on for more than a week without becoming annoyed with the nonsense contained therein.....this one is the only forum I am active on that I do not have controlling or owning interest in. If you guys need the help, I'm only too happy to oblige.

If you tolerate this, then your children will be next.
