A great time was had by all on Saturday with our first Qualifying tournament for the 2013 BEF Junior Nationals. Brackets were held in both the 14 and under and the 15-18 year old divisions. In the 14 and under division, the top three players qualified: Sam Hoffman (who travels from New Jersey to play in our league); Mike Perez and Alex Gurevich. In the 15 – 18 year old division First place winner Kevin Sun and Second place winner Franky Richards both qualified. The Junior 9-ball championships will be held in Las Vegas from July 25-29 at the Rio. Our next qualifying event will also be the Massachusetts State 9-ball Junior championship on May 19 at the Billiards Café, 39 Main St. Ayer Ma. Everyone ages 8-18 is welcome to compete.
