Does anyone know where I can buy a bunch of the plastic sleeves like a new shaft would come in?

The best (cheapest) item is a roll of the tubing, which you will cut to size then use a heat sealer to seal one end. I have a couple rolls, each a different size, one for single shafts, one that can fit a butt and a shaft.
