Far and away I prefer the darker vertical one to the right. If you don't mind me asking - do you have a link? Might consider adding it to my collection.

light one looks stronger

The light case appears to be double stitched with reinforced stitching around the handle straps, I think it might be a longer lasting, better made case. Look at the handle area and look at the other post that shows where it ripped, doesn't look very tough to me.
