PoolComps.com Costa del Sol Open: Stage is set for the concluding tour stop in 2007
[EPBF press-release] From December 6th to December 9th, the PoolComps.com Costa del
Sol Open will take place in the Torrequebrada Hotel & Casino in Malaga. Presented by
Dynamic Billard and the Real Federacion Espanola Billard (RFEB), this tournament
will conclude the running Euro Tour season 2007. And even now, about one week prior
to the start, the PoolComps.com Costa del Sol Open 2006 have already entered the
tour's history book. Incredible 382 players from 36 different countries have
announced for the tournament, what means another 15% plus compared with the former
record-holder, the PoolComps Netherlands Open 2006. Indeed, to secure a high-class
tournament the Euro-Tour stands for, the organiser had to cut the entry-list at 230
players and formed a waiting-list with highly impressive 152 names on it.

Together with announcing this new all-time-high, tour-organiser IBPF is happy to
inform that from now on one could follow the tournament action LIVE on the official
website www.eurotour.nu.

382 players is just incredible, I assume you will be playing Craig?

I wonder what the record is for the biggest pool tourney? Perhaps the big tournament in Japan quite a few years back that Efren won.

Yeah will be there, last tournament of the year for me so hopefully jump up the rankings but will be tough. There's also a large American 8 ball tournament on the same weekend so should be good.

The Euro Tour is a truly open tour which works on first come first served and they cut off entries at 230, the top 32 players are seeded and get 1st round byes.
