In a nut shell, it's gonna be an A,B or C cut,
Say it's a B, cueball edge to B, cueball center to edge of object, 1/2 tip pivot!

It's been working for me with out looking at pocket on B's
A's and C's are harder.

I'm not sure on how much the pivot should be but I "think 1/2 tip is all I need?????

I gave up on this for a while and I'm doing zero X drills but I got to figure this out also!

Good job,,,,,,

You have to experiment with pivot length as distance between balls change, either very close or very far away, but yeah, you're on your way.

I'd argue, that pivoting your cue presents all kinds of problems afterwards and that from a strictly technical point of view it's also a bad idea... (just to think about the physics).

But then again, I've gotten rather relaxed at that - so as long as you're having fun and potting balls!

In the end, I kind of also do edge aiming, but that's about it...

Cheers,
M
