Since we at AZ are not going to be allowed to see any pics from this 'event.' It makes me wonder what the reason is. Perhaps attendance was not what some had expected. Somehow it just seems kind of fishy.

You might as well give in and join Facebook if you want to see cue pictures, that is where they are these days. I'm sure John Wright met the same reluctance when he switched from mailing out his pictures to posting them on a website.

If you lived anywhere near the Palatine IL area back then, John probably would have filled your request if he thought a sale was forthcoming..:wink:

Hi Jamie, It's sort of ironic that you mentioned John Wright. I have a close friend in the Chicago burbs not far from Palatine that was very close to John. He has file boxes of John's monthly mailings all chronological. They are a treasure trove of the history of the custom cue market, pictures and prices of his cues for years. It is a time capsule, you can follow the prices of the cue market and see cues that have never been seen before. Truly a walk back in time.

I still wish the pics of the recent show would be posted here.
