Pretty cool old Schon, definitely one you dont see everyday. Someone on here will be able to help im sure. Im not 100% sure but I think that logo on the shafts is pre mid 90s.

Were you given any background on it, how long they had it or purchased from maybe?

@Stakehorse.....I have no information at all on it. I know he had it for a looooong time. I was thinking Runde era 80's but can't find anything about it. A dealer at the expo put it in the 90's with the script writing on the shafts, but.........

There is a Schon collectors group on FB that you might try; or look for an archive on the schon site or contact them with those pics and see if they can help.

Yes. unusual. Shafts are circa 1993 approx. Not that they have to be original, mind you.
However the CNC styling, Id also put at right there in time. 92-94 era.

Never seen one of those.

Looks '93, by the gold script on the butt sleeve (curly S and no umlaut over the O) and the gold roll marked shafts.

Have a photo of the pin?

May be a CX line.

If the shafts are original to the cue i would put it right at 1993, and the pin mat be the tell tale sign. I don’t believe its a Runde era cue, but later. Looks like it may have been refinished at some point. See how the top and bottom of the word Schon fade out? It may have lost its dots.

I don't remember the model number, but I've heard it referred to as the "Playboy" cue, because there was one pretty similar to that shown in a 1994-5 Playboy issue.

That cue was close to 2k new too. Tommy D.

Don't think Runde era Schon's were cnc'ed. Mine is a 92 - 93 and was a one off by Evan. Far from being an expert.

Thanks for all of your help guys. I have found out in the collector's group on Facebook that this is a ST-23. It is for sale and the Estate has priced this at $2000. obo. It could use a new wrap but otherwise a beauty. Thanks again
