If you gamble and win, you're a thief or a locksmith.
If you gamble and lose, you're a sucker.
If you don't gamble, you're a nit.

If you play in tournaments and win, they are ready to raise your handicap or just ban you from the event.

If you play in tournaments and lose, your peers ride you about how you don't have a chance against those killers.

If you just practice a lot, there will be those who wail that if they practice as much as you do, they would be a champion.

If you support pool, you're a brown-noser or you've got your hand out.

If you don't practice much and have played at a decent level from time to time, you're a "natural" and everyone is scared to death you're going to get in stroke at any moment.

If you play in the pool leagues, you're a schmuck and looked down upon by the conceited, self-centered *****s.

If you like to study the science of pool, you're a no-playing nerd.

If you're a champion, you just don't really know what you are doing.

If you want to be a champion, you'll never get there because it's too hard.

Any others or modifications to add?

Me thinks you have defined the behavior of the jerks real well.... Gentlemen would not do this, at the very least , not to your face & only in confidence.

If you pocket a ball due to "table roll", you're lucky.

If you miss the same ball due to "table roll", you didn't hit it hard enough.

........ If the obvious cross-corner shot comes up : CALL IT , or your opp will expect you to forfeit your turn !

Sometimes a "call-shot" takes you out of rhythm . :(

POOL is indeed tough !

Yeah, one more to add. If you start winning after adjusting the previous spot then you were laying down waiting to jack the bet.

Exactly

Seems to me that whenever you mix money and pool you mess pool up and everything you said is absolutely true.

If you gamble and win, and don't give your opponent a million chances to win his money back, you're an a-hole

If, when playing team One Pocket, you attempt a kick shot, it is the same as telling your partner you can't stand him.

The spot is correct if you are losing so no adjustment necessary but wrong if you are winning and must be adjusted immediately.

I hope it's still there after you pull it out! Although making it grow back would be a neat trick ;)

Joey despair not
I just remembered some good advice I got years ago
when I first entered the pool world

Day after day I asked who is that"?

the old timer said"oh he is a good player" "nobody will play him"

Next time I asked I got the same answer
Everywhere i went

finally I asked "what's the point in getting good if nobody wants to play you?''

One seasoned old timer named titanic said to me

"you are not as stupid as you look kid"

"gee thanks" I mumbled

I went to a garden party
to reminisce with my old friends

...but it's alright now
I've learned my lesson well
you see ya can't please everyone
so ya got to please yourself
