5 pins is a very strange game, where you'll find some kick shot masters , because it's a game for defensive profiles of players .
some 2 rails kick shots are specific to this game -for that they are 2 rails kick shot systems with reverse english or not-
be carefull when you travel in Italy : some players are very, very, very strong ....It's extremely popular in Italy, with a professonnal league of something like 60 players...

For the record, it's played with very heavy cues , from 640g to >750g, and they use composite shafts for a while , >15 years ... ( that's why i smile when i read all the "Revo revolution" threads ;-) )
this game is worth a try but to appreciate it you need to be initiated by a "real" 5 pins player/specialist , else it can appear less interesting that the usual carom games. When your OB is always masked by the casle (the 5 pins) and/or by the red , they you begin to learn the 5 pins game following the right way
