Canadian Hall of Fame?

Just heard it thru the grapevine that a seasoned pool player was inducted to the hall of fame lately. Be it locally or nationally this is an accolade to somebody who has contributed to the game specially in Canada where the game is dwindling in patrons. Heard that this guy was going around north america in the 70s and 80s. looking for action. Can anybody confirm?

HI Was it Paul Thornley maybe some one knows

It was indeed Paul Thornley, but it was not the CANADIAN Hall of Fame but rather the OWEN SOUND Hall of Fame (where he is from)

Hi i knew Paul Thornley he used to come to Montreal and play anybody for money. Paul had a hesitation Stroke he also played Snooker Professional in England. Great person and friend
