Old growth shaft, Maple Shaft or LD shaft

There are some old growth shaft like Lakewood shaft, Timeless Timber Shaft ETC,,,,

there are some solid maple shaft and now the new technology LD shaft..

Which one do you prefer and why? hows the playability of yours?

I've never shot with a timeless timber shaft so I can't really give my opinion on it.

As far as feel I would easily give it to a solid maple shaft that was on a Scruggs I had with an ivory ferrule.

As far as what I would want to shoot with in a tournament I would go with a LD SS360/2. It has the best qualities of hit and LD.

i tried a bowling alley shaft (old growth) to be honest..this is the most solid shaft i tried. better now with my SS360
