So I sat on this for awhile and ended up redoing my fireplace and turned it into a mantle.

Thanks everyone. I held on for awhile hoping that someone would be interested in restoration but that never materialized. It was way too big of a restoration for me to even consider.

Rest of the table went to a furniture maker. If he ends up doing anything with it I'll post it up here.

I see what king cobra is saying I would think of it from the stand point of restoring classic cars. People dump money into cars that they will never get thier return from but they love cars and enjoy doing it. If you want to restore this table for the love of the game and it’s history and you have the extra money to spend great...don’t do it because your expecting a big pay day at the end of the rainbow
