Wish I knew how to do a diagram on here. An aggressive play in this situation is to come off the side rail with low left english and clip the the OB and play it 1 rail to your pocket. After contacting the OB, the CB goes cross table and retains the spin. Once it contacts the the other side it will spin down toward your oponents pocket. If there are other balls on the table then this could be a game winner if you make it. But, as stated before, it all depends on the situation.

Playing Cue:Tucker, Josey
Breaker: TBD
Favorite Game:One Hole, Straight Pool

This is a very simple end game shot ,that comes up all the time, kick off back rail into object ball and leave qball on or near bottom rail with object ball up table on your side!do not try to make this ball, hope your opponent does.

I'm with you 100% on this. I see this scenario come into play a lot, end game or not. And I too play it the same way without any hesitation. I want to stick the CB right down where it is and move the OB up the table on my side. I see that several responses suggest to use low left in this situation but I'm very succesful using just the opposite. I use top right in this case. I'm thinking top or bottom should not matter as long as the cb is sliding at the point of contact (as long as the cb is sliding at the poc on a full hit it will stop, right???). If you have any different twists on this put ‘em on out there.

The shot is "fine" for getting a ball away from your opponents pocket (assuming there are no other balls on the table). Hit it "hard enough" to not leave an easy (or even make-able) straight back bank.
Red Shoes,

I would think a man of your talents would bank it cross corner into your hole?

Id like to leave my opponant a sell out bank and hope he falls for it. Maybe leave the CB at his pocket and leave the OB in the opposite quadrant. Or leave it a bit easier and hope you get left a short rail bank.

It depends on how clever your victim is...
