Well me and a friend played a race to 400 yesterday for $100 which is pretty cheap, well it was supposed to be 300 but with the score at around 295 (me) to 245, my friend Mike suggested we go to 400 as he felt he was getting into stroke. I told him if I get to 400 and he does not get to 300 he pays another $50 on top of it, he says "BET!".
Neither of us did anything spectacular and the high run for me was only like 22-23 balls. I ended up winning 400-299, he missed the 300th ball in the side pocket and I ran the rest of the balls out. It took us about 5 to 5 and half hours to do the race to 400 which I thought was okay and it was fun because I play straight pool once or twice a year.
I think maybe next time me and him will go to the room when it opens and play a race to 1000! :thumbup:
