Buy one.
The variety is there. The quality is there. Buy.
When it comes to a shaft - it's a personal choice. I've purchased and used a number of the OB shafts.

TOP QUALITY:

What do you want in a shaft? ....
OB 1+ and 2+ ....really soft hit
classic? ...firm hit.

The OB shafts will stand toe-to-toe withe that monster"Predator"

I have an OB shaft. Maple ferule, 11.75mm. Didn't like the conical taper. I had the taper lengthened and still don't like it. No more LD for me. Sticking with good old regular hard maple shafts.
I think there are too many gimmicks out there. Predator isn't a pool company anymore. They buy up technologies and create a market for it. You can spend $2000 for a Predator cue stick. $500 for a Revo shaft like the old graphite shafts. They are a marketing company, not a pool company. JMHO.

I have nothing but good things to say about OB shafts.
Have used them for years and they are a quality product.
If your personal preferences in feel and hit align with the OB shafts you have found the holy grail.
I recommend hitting a few balls with a borrowed OB first to see if it is what you like.
