I've seen this before, how are you supposed to use this thing.

Bend into your shooting stance, and with an underhand stroking like motion, repeatedly throw it into the trash can until your arm/stroke finds its groove.

Then once you are finally in the groove, leave it in the trash.

The Amazon review I saw focused on weight and balance change by adding the extension, not sighting. Anyone want to comment on that review here?
