I have an opportunity to get a free 10x5 Brunswick antique carom table. I believe the model is the Narragansett, 1/4 sawn oak with Rosewood rails. It is an hours drive so I haven't seen it yet.
Can anybody tell me if this is 1 inch slate? I've moved a 2 inch slate table and wouldn't try it with this because it is up several stairs.
What tools are required to disassemble an antique table like this?
Can the cushions be replaced if needed? What is the expected cost?
It's a fantastic table located in an old gentleman's club. I believe it is from the late 1890s to at most 1910. Pretty cool stuff.
