I am going to get a few tats done here soon, just looking to see if theres any interesting pool and billiards related designs out there, or if you all might know any artists who can capture the love of the game in a picture, lemme see what you got. Thanks, Damon.

Do a Google search for billiard tattoos. I found a few flaming 8 balls and such. I was thinking of getting a new tat lately and it will probably be pool realted as well. I wonder if a flaming 8 ball on my 51 yr old butt would look good when I wear my speedos?
Maybe I'll get a ferrule tattooed on my PP and when I get wood, it will turn into a full splice cue.
BTW, there was a guy in the wanted for sale section (Kensgrafix, or something like that) that was advertising his services to design team tee shirts. Maybe look him up and see if he'll do a pool pic for ya to take into the tat shop.

I've spent the last few years on and off thinking on the same subject. I've tried the Google aproach for ideas and there is no doubt that you can find some web sites with thousands of images to check out. Good luck finding a good pool related one. There as been quite few threads about this over the years. You would be best off to start by searching through the previous threads on this forum.
Good Luck!

i love tattoos, awalys have awalys will. Same for pool. However I have never seen a pool related tattoo I liked. However If you have a monster size tattoo like Ralf "Big-Tattoo" here on AZ, his is a bodysuit size tattoo, then having a pool related thing incorporated into it is cool.

But as a stand alone thing like a 8 ball< I just cant stand it. Like a Tazmaninan Devil or "MOM", just too "out of the can" not body art. But thats only a opinion.

good luck

Tattoos...my thinking is that those that get them have the right to be different. Just like everybody else.

Here is a rough sketch I did a while back for someone here.
I think with some more work on it can look cool....

This is an air freshener I wanted to get done as a tattoo. I want to change a little and add a little to it, but, it is a cool base for a tattoo.

Might want to consider getting a "10-ball" instead of a 9 or an 8 unless you want to look anachronistic- it seems like it's the game of the present/future.

Eric, dude, ease up on insulting the Taz tattoos. Some of us got a Taz because we love that character.

Look at Beware_of_Dawg's avatar

(Ok, don't flame me. Generally, I advise against tattoos. Career limiting. Just an observation. But...you are not my kid...)

I really like Beware_of_Dawg's avatar. A wingless dragon wrapped around a pool cue. Basic black and white, but I think this would make a great tattoo.

I am thinking about "tattooing" my pool cue forearm with some kind of design.

i have a custom piece on my left bicep of a skull with 8 balls in the eye sockets and a 9 ball in his jaws. i think you're best best bet is to come up with something you like, rough out a sketch to the best of your ability, write down as much detail as you can and then find a good shop. make sure the guy is reputable (i.e. shop is clean has been around for a while) and ask to see some of his work. anybody worth a damn has a book of photos of some of the work he's done. after that let the artist do his job. let him take your ideas and make something cool. that's why they make the money they do.99% of my ink is custom and that's the way to go. you won't see your tat on anyone else and it's not some s*itty flash off the wall. remember this thing is on you for life - unless you're a sissy who gets the laser. and that my friend is the nit move of the tattoo world - don't be that guy.

I would agree except for the sketch to the best of your ability. I am draw tar tar in that respect. I have looked for years and never found one I would like to have, but am still looking. If you are an artist who has mad skillz pm me lol.
