Hey Everyone...here are the details for this year's U.S. Bar Table Championship.

Feb. 23 - March 1, 2009

16th Annual U.S. Bar Table Championship
Sands Regency Casino Hotel
345 N. Arlington
Reno, Nevada


$24,500 GUARANTEED ADDED

10-Ball: Feb. 23-25
$6000 Added / Race to 7

9-Ball: Feb. 25-27
$6000 Added / Race to 9

8-Ball: Feb. 27 - March 1
$8000 Added / Race to 5

Double Elimination / Alternate Breaks

* All matches will be played on Diamond 7' Smart Tables with Pro-Cut 4-1/2" pockets, Simonis 860 Tour Blue Cloth, Red Circle Cue Balls, and Super Aramith Pro Balls.

PLAYERS MEETINGS: 10 AM day of each event, play will start at 1 PM.

ALL AROUND PAYOUTS:
1st - $2000
2nd - $1000
3rd - $500
You must compete in all three events in order to be eligible.

WOMEN'S ALL AROUND:
1st - $600
2nd - $300
3rd - $100
Eight women must compete in all three events in order to be eligible.

ENTRIES: All events have an entry of $125 (includes $25 registration fee)
All entries must be postmarked by Feb. 14, 2009. Entries postmarked after Feb. 14th. will be $150 (which includes a $25 late fee). On site entries, should openings be available, will be assessed an additional $25 late fee. No checks will be accepted after Feb. 8, 2009.


Entry forms will soon be available online at the CueSports International website .

Special Rates: Sun thru Thurs $29 / Fri & Sat $49. plus add a 13.5% room tax. Room reservations must be made by Feb. 18, 2009 to guarantee the special rates. One night advance deposit required.

I've never been to this event and I'm thinking about going next year. Do you have to pay quarters for the games or are the tables open.

They use the same tokens like they use at the DCC or the BCA's. Each token is 1.00 and each game is 1 token.

We'll have the information, flyer, entry forms all ready to go around Mid-November if not a little earlier. Thanks for asking

Also a new addition to the USBTC is we're adding this year a Women's 10-Ball and All Around!

Last year we added a separate women's 8 and 9-ball, which was well received and decided to expand it for the ladies.
