Bump it up
Been using a G2 Hard for 2 days now, and so far I really like it... My regular playing tip is a Kamui Black Hard, have always considered the Black Kamui's the best tips Ive ever tried. In my opinion, they play best when they've been worked in a little, and down a few layers. Basically I guess I like it when it gets smashed down and becomes even harder, lol...
2 days of play is not enough to give a solid opinion on a tip (IMO), so I will reserve that for now and respond in a few more days. But, I will quickly say, that the G2 Hard is definitely not as hard as the Kamui Black Hard is, but holds chalk WAY better.
I don't normally miscue very much, maybe once or twice a night, but I had zero miscues last night (I also use Kamui .98, so that does help). Played about 50-60 racks of 8-ball and had 7 break n runs (Big boy Diamond, 4.25" pockets). Probably a few more than I might average on a Friday night (I drink when I play, and do it well, especially on a Fri night, lol). So far so good, but it plays different than a Kamui. Not in a good or bad way, just different. Reminds me of a Moori a little, but with much more grip to it...... As a matter of fact, that was the first thing I noticed when I scuffed the back of it to install on my shaft. It felt really really "grippy", almost like the way freshly tanned leather feels, not after it has dried out...
