Both w wrap to keep things even. Looks don't count. Thoughts? Also what do you guys think about ash wood for cues.

i've tried both p3 and ikon 1..and i've decided to pick the ikon..
IMHO,p3 is too stiff for me...while ikon 1 is less stiff..
if you are looking for a stiff cue then go with p3..
and p3 is almost twice expensive than ikon 1..
if i were you,i'd buy ikon 1 and get a bk2..

The P3 butt is thicker than Ikon 1, so depending on the thickness of butt you can choose the cue you like.
The Ikon is solid stanless steel joint and P3 has a stainless steel sleeve on phenolic.
Feeling of wrap is almost same on bothe cues.
Also in P3 when you hold the cue on extreme down end of the cue, you can feel the steel on one side not on the other and some tiime steel feels very cold, prompting you to rotate the cue in your hand causing inconistency in my opinion.

These are my personal opinions.

I was planning on buying an Ikon, but visually, the butt looks very thin and I prefer a much thicker butt. Is the P2 thickness similiar as a P3?Thanks for the info!

Apparently you missed the part about "PM me".
This isn't the 'For Sale' section.
