Were the ferrules on this cue changed after Dennis was done with it?

First off, I apologize for the confusion, yes the ferrules were changed to iv*ry when it was sold off but the cue remains unplayed. The new owner owns a couple of Searing and he thinks Searing performs best with iv*ry. Now it's back up for sale.

Great cue but im just curious why wld a top cuemaker like Dennis used uniloc joint on his cue joint when there are so many good joints out there like radial or 3-8/10.

In fact his 5-16/14 are the cleanest i have seen.

Is there any reason why Dennis likes the uniloc becoz i have seen him use it on several of his cue ?

Good luck w sales, its a real beauty n iy being an ebony forearm searing just makes it even more rare !
