I heard a couple of guys talking about a product I hadn't heard of before. It's 2 1/2" long and goes between the butt and shaft of the cue. They said it costs around $30.00 and is available in different pin sizes.
What is this product and what's it do?

Extensions. They add weight and length (along with moving the balance point further away from the butt) to your cue.

The top two are balancerite and the ones a guy on here makes and sells.
