Just wanted to post some information about my recent install of a Jimar table at my house. They don't have much in the way of detailed information online.

Does it have 50 or 60mm slate
I emailed them a while back , the guy in Florida?
Very reasonable prices on new tables

I like the slick thermostat
Small and out of the way

Let us know what you think about it after some play time once it's not slick anymore

So far, I really like the table. Yes, it was from the Jimar dealer in Miami, his name is Carlos.

The slate is the typical 2" thick.

Is there no traditional heating bed? Is it some kind of new or proprietary system design?

The heating panels are coil wires on a board backer, mounted against the slate. There is an option for heating of the rails, too. That was the only thing that I forgot to take detailed pictures of.

I use the same electrical cord protector on my floor for the power cable.

I find I rarely stand on it and when I need to it's not much bother at all.

Just FYI for anyone looking into one of these Jimar tables. The USA distributorship is with Carlos down in Miami.Which is where they land from Columbia. It's best to text and call Carlos, as email response can be a couple days. 786-390-6255 is his number.
