9 Ball Tournament ( Play Hard or Go Home

15 sets to 25 how long do you expect the tourney to go? or did you mean best of 25? just curious. I mean i kinda like the idea but there are some people, when they match up even for a race to 7, take forever.... Have you run this format there before and how'd it go?

16 player single elimination - I assume you mean after 3 matches you're in the finals. With 4 sessions of races to 25 games, I'm guessing 4-5 hours per session. Even starting at 11am, seems like it will be extremely hard to complete this tournament in one day/night, finishing at a reasonable hour. Maybe they meant best of 25 (races to 13) and not races to 25?

Even if most entrants are pro level players, if you get more than 8 players, meaning 4 sessions, you'd better make it races to 15 or 17 max if you plan to finish at a reasonable hour.
