Diamonds with "league pockets". Will be more popular with most people.
Better resale value.
Better reputation as a true pool table.

Valleys are more rough & tumble in a bar setting than a diamond.
Valleys with extended rail Ridgebacks are better than stock but not quite the same as the diamond.
