This has got me thinking ...

It would be interesting to see the a comparison of the averages of players from every country, perhaps from those countries' national tournaments.

Sure, we can all list the *world's* top XYZ number of players and their countries of origin off the top of their heads, but that doesn't give an indication of the overall quality of play in a given country's population. Yeah, I know Sayginer and Tasdemir are Turkish but that doesn't tell me anything really about how many players are in Turkey playing at any kind of level.

It would be kind of cool to see, for example, that South Korea had (WARNING - - -
MADE UP NUMBERS HERE!) over half its field in a 2017 national tournament average .8 or greater, while Colombia only had 3 players average that in a 2017 national tournament.

This is something Bert said not long ago

The numbers give an impression on Asians, Korea especially

But the Europeans are winning alot of the world cups and championships

Greece, Sweden,France, the Netherlands and Italy each only have one player representing each country in the world top Ranking
