Is this the pool room where that guy with the microphone does that long winded Calcutta that goes on and on? If so, when will it be over?
I don't want to pay money to see that. I pay money to see guys shooting pool.
Thank you

Tempted to buy the pass, but the lack of a player list is scaring me off. Doesn't need include big-name pros for me to buy. Just needs to have a fair amount of top-notch bartable players (like Clint Freeman level) for me to buy.

Where before taxes 25k means anything? Now you're just talking like an idiot.

I figured there would be some moron that would make an off color comment.

If you traveled to the event, paid for a room, food, drink, entry etc and were lucky enough to win...take the taxes off the top then what would be left? Yes of course 25k sounds attractive. You would have to win a lot of 25K tournaments to make a decent living. I venture to guess that advertiser here makes more off of the fees you would pay to watch this event on your devices than the actual player makes when he wins. So there was a point to my comment.

The point is the players are not getting paid enough. And until that happens the sport will always be a bastard child.

So no, 25K means very little in the grand scheme of things. 90% of those players will take a loss one way or another and the 10% will barely slide by.
