I dig it but no clue. Diamonds look unique. Not sure. Closeup of pin? If serious about pawn shop, I would have bought it too.

No idea. Pawn shop find? Excellent.

I dig those rings, just like my Joss block letter cues. But it is unusual to see them in all locations, which I do enjoy seeing.

Proportions of the rings are nice.

Points looks nicely done, with nice proportions.

One inch butt cap, does not look like delrin.

Is there a grain in those ferrules?

The points of the diamonds are rounded...

Not the greatest shaft wood...

Very nice finish, looks to be in excellent condition. Looks darn well new.

I really don't know who made it. But I like it.

Would like to see close up of pilots/pin as well as under the bumper.

Brand new, perfect looking finish, perfect tips even?

You sure this is a pawn shop find? Where is that pawn shop?

Given the slightly shorter butt plate, I do tend to lean towards Runde, though this could be anybody.

All the best,
WW

I agree, it sure looks like one of the Runde R12's he made a few years ago.

I'm not sure I'm buying the "pawn shop nugget" bit.

I agree that Runde is certain possibility. I would also throw Richard Black out there.

Not so much the diamonds that does it for me, but other things seem to say Runde. The dashes are a bit thick, typical for Runde. The butt sleeve pattern became sort of a standard for a Schon cue later as well. The butt plate, in addition to being a bit shorter than the usual 1.5 inches also has a bit of a squared off end, similar to other Runde cues. Also, those ferrules either look like Micarta, or whatever material became the Schon standard with and after Runde. Could also be a custom Schon in the earlier days, but I doubt it, given the wrap. They didn't too many with green speck linen.

All the best,
WW

Agree, I'm not buying the pawn shop tale either.

For Black, the bumper is too big; he used a smaller one, probably custom, not the typical. Also, I've never seen a Black with fairly centered dashed shaft collars. This would be a first. For the butt plate, either Richard did the typical 1.5 inch, or a much shorter, sort of like Bill Stroud, but I've never seen this length plate for Richard.

Not conclusive...

All the best,
WW

Ferrules look like Bob’s, but I would need to see the pilots.

Yes, just teasing about the Pawn Shop. Came from "Deanoc's Pawn Shop". R-12 recreated by the creator of the R series Schon cues. Thanks for the compliments guys.

Yep, thought that was a Runde - Schon - looking. Distinctive butt plate. Very nice cue.

Very nice cue! I think I was considering that when Dean posted it but I’m too chicken to buy without pictures, haha. Kinda regretting it now.

Love Runde cues and that one is a classic beauty! Been playing with mine for 2 years now and couldn’t be happier.
