Help with Meucci cue identification

We have a cue that we believe to be one of Meucci's first made cues - before he started the Meucci company. (At least this is what we were told) It came with a snooker shaft. Here are some pictures.. any thoughts? Thanks!

Looks like a Huebler, early cue. These were often tulipwood and you can see the nylon shaft insert. Many only had a peel off sticker identifying them. Bob did work there for a while .

I don't think that is a snooker shaft but a worn down normal pool shaft. Unless it's the photo, the ferrule is quite a bit wider than the shaft.
