Great list.

I got to see Jimmy Reid's US OPEN trophy in person at his house years ago (when he lived in TN). That was very cool.

If I could go back I would have taken a photo of me next to it with Jimmy. I do have a videotape of our lesson that Jimmy made which is cool.

wow, Filipino's fare really poorly in the finals. Amazing, considering how they usually never fail under pressure. But, 2-9 is a bad record to have in the finals. It's amazing enough for a Filipino to have been in the finals 11 of the last 15, but sucks to have lost 9 of them.

My friend, don't be too hard on the Filipino's. These results just show that they are a force to reckon with in all tournaments.

If it helps remember that Pagulayan beat Parica when he won it; a phillipino had to lose it that year. Don't know if that make it better or worse.

Thank you so much!

Efren has three consecutive 1st runner-up finishes!

Wow!

Efren made it to the Finals in 4 consecutive years. He won in 1994, and then finished runner-up the next 3 consecutive years. He could have been right up there with Earl Strickland.

Very Impressive, it just tells us how hard it is to win multiple
times, 5 times is UNBELIEVABLE :bow-down:
