LOL .. Well, I do not think the bar box's are going away anytime soon.

It's logistically, financially and more practical than having to make arrangements for 9 footers. That is just a fact. We also know that as long as a market will support a product, that product will continue to be offered.

So that is the state of affairs.

Bar box pool is a very different game in my opinion. It is such a tippy tappy soft stroke event that it is ... well, different.

I find the only way to react is to start shooting on some bar box's if you seek greater tournament action.

I am not saying that 7 footers will ever replace 9 footers because that will never happen. Any reasonable person will recognize that the ultimate test of a pool players ability is decided on a larger table.

But there is a place for the 'baby tables.' It is pool. It is fun.

I guess I am for anything that attracts money and activity in the world of pool. Now if I can just get myself to practice on a 7 footer...

I know this is a huge nit, but wouldn't it make sense to have the players listed alphabetically by last name? It's really easy, in excel. Use the text to columns function and have delimiter be the space between the first and last names, then sort by the last names column.

By first name is gaining momentum- I thing Gmail lists its contacts that way.
