Hoping someone on here might be able to comment on my issue.
I have a cue companion lathe that recently started to self-loosen (or self-tighten in reverse). It’s the larger bore chuck. It got so bad that I broke the loosening tools trying to loosen it the other day. I’ve since stopped using it to avoid a similar situation.
Tried calling unique but haven’t heard a response yet... any ideas on why this might be happening?
It happens when replacing tips and/or shaft conditioning and didn’t do this before.
