Here is a hard-to-find Stanley West 4-point full splice cue.

Rosewood points, with 4 veneers, into a birdseye maple forearm and matching rosewood butt sleeve with checker board design. Elephant ear print leather wrap. Joint is elfloryn. 3/8-10 joint.

Butt: 15 oz, 28 3/4" long
Shaft: 3.5 oz, 12.5 mm, 29"long

Stanley West Cues

Wow! That's a throwback!! When I was in Germany in the mid 80's, the Stanley West Line of cues was a pretty popular cue for German players who didn't step up in price to McDermott, Meucci and Joss. It had a lot to do with the exchange rate at that time.

Two of my friends who played at the Army Recreation Center where I worked owned Stanley West Cues. They played a lot like the Adam's Helmstetter line of the same period.
Nice cue and a rare find indeed.
