Looks like that was written OVER the clearcoat, is that right? If that's the case, chances are pretty good the guy that signed it is not the maker. Maybe a player?
I don't see any maker writting so messily on the cue, looks like a signature of someone. Did someone make 1420 hits in baseball or something and they signed the cue? I know some players sign items with their signature stat like home runs, goals, whatever.
That's a very odd bumper for a custom maker to use, don't think I have seen anything like it before. Need more pics though, of the forearm, joint, any ringwork, etc... The forearm looks like it was made out of shaft wood with the way it was cut.
