For those of you who aren't familiar with Mary, you should visit Facebook and see all of her photos. She's got quite a collection of many of the pool players. The latest one is the Wall of Fame III. You can see many of your favorite pool players and how they looked yesteryear.

I'm not positive, but a friend of mine mentioned that she is working in a casino, in Vegas. I think it was the Palms. I believe she is going by "Mary Kenn", these days.

I just spoke to her a few weeks ago, and she's in Florida now. What a gal! I don't know her well, but I really do enjoy talking with her. She's real pool peeps, thoroughbred pool player all the way. :)

Not surprising, considering how the casino industry in Vegas is really hurting. Hotels have been cutting staff and cutting hours/shifts back. Dealers and anyone that works for tips have taken a beating too.

First time I met her was in New Orleans 1968 she was traveling around with NY Blackie, not sure of the pool room name, maybe sportsmans, no a/c, humid like fresh washed cloths, served one lb baskets of Jumbo boiled shrimp for $3.95 and Gold Crown I's plus a couple of 8' GC's, think this was I think when she first went on the road, Blackie worked it good, he was old school. Tell her Hi from someone who's WAY taller than her :). Last time I saw Blackie was in 2004 at Fatso's in Tampa area where Buddy played out of for awhile.

Mary is on Facebook.

Her photos of pool players from the early 90s to the mid 2000s, are FANTASTIC.

Her collections are most of her work, but also a from Pool and Billiards and other photo bugs from that time frame.

Facebook has a tendancy really fall short on the name searchers.

You might want to try this link when you log into your account.

I met Mary in 1978, I think, when she came to Binghamton, NY to play in a tournament for the women. She told us she had just come back from Arkansas or Alabama and she and her road partner had won $1500. How some of the locals scoffed when they heard that! Called her a liar behind her back. They really didn't know much about the pool world. I laughed like hell when I found out her road partner was.....Buddy Hall!!

Hahaha and she has the pictures to prove it. :D

The guy you reall need to see is Dollar Bill. If you've seen some pictures of him recently, you'll want to see one of the oldies but goodies that is on Mary's Wall of Fame III.:thumbup:

She used to hang out at Mother's in Charlotte quite often as she was a friend of Kelly Oyama. Super nice lady & still played well in the mid 90's. She was sponsored by local cuemaker Dennis Keppley.

Mary is living in Melbourne, Florida and told me she would enjoy having some sparring partners to play with. Unfortunately I left Florida a couple of years ago. She graciously emailed an aiming system she has been using which is a clever cross between using the lights and CTE. I tried it and it does work, but that's another thread.

Best,
Mike

Real nice, Mike. Just leave us hanging......

A new aiming system and you're not going to hijack this thread. WTH is this forum going to?

OK, but PM me when you start the new aiming thread. :D
