Room Rates

It appears that this may not be completely accurate. Below is the Gold Coast rate calendar. If you are able to get a date that isn't completely sold out, you can get a good rate on some nights and a not-so-good rate on others; for example...$139-$149 on some nights. Also, don't forget those "resort fees" that are almost never included in the quoted room rate which are typically $18-23 per night.

Our suggestion: do yourself a favor and don't get tricked into thinking you are getting a better deal. Stay in the venue that makes the event possible, pay a consistent and fair rate with no tricks, and have a great time without having to catch shuttles or walk a long distance while crossing busy Las Vegas streets.

These rates were accurate at the time if your a B-Connected member through casino marketing. They have a revised rate now and most are sold out because people booked earlier in the year with the cheaper rates. I stayed at the Rio last May during ACS for 7 days for less than $50 and again in July because I got comps and stayed 14 day for less than $300. I tried to book this year and was told no comps during July. I wonder why?

Does CSI have an agreement with the Rio to fill a certain number of rooms? If so does CSI only get credit if someone used the CSI group reservation code? The gamblers always get a much better deal using their casino player card.

You are correct, and what bothers me is that CSI resents someone trying to save money to attend. The rooms will be filled by people that can afford it but not everyone can and trying to save a $ should not be looked down on. When I was working I could afford to stay where ever the event was held, but for anyone on Social Security saving a few $ is a lot and should not be looked at differently.

I stayed at the Gold Coast for 3 night. I flew in on Tuesday the 22nd and our team got knocked out of the Masters, so I left on Friday the 25th. I paid $111 and change for my stay.
Last year I booked a room at the Rio for 12 nights and paid a lil over $1200. So, pretty big difference in price.
I will say this.....the Gold Coast only has 710 rooms, so you need to book early.
