Ok I will ask the question here.

What is the cost per day to watch this in person?

First place could well be and most likely will be over $4,000.00

And just for your information: tourament is tournament, price money is prize money and anuff is enough

And this is quite significant (quoting Pat Fleming):

  • "The six players’ airfare and lodging is taken care of, and there are no entry
fees. Usually, players are out of pocket about $2,000 at most pro events after
paying for their airfare, lodging, and entry fees. At our “Make-It-Happen”
events, the players get a free ride . . . LIKE THEY DESERVE! They only have
to focus on pocketing $1,000 for each win."

Well I had planned on coming and watching the last 2 days in person but it looks like that won't work out.

Next best thing is to purchase the early bird special.

That was a little harsh, sorry oldzilla, not your fault.

Still confusing about how Shane was apparently playing a tournament in China yesterday and yet supposed to be back in the states for a tournament tomorrow. What would have happened if he had won his match?

Ok Skip no prob.

I'm not sure but I do not think Shane was in China.
I talked to Jim and he said Pat called him and talked to him.
So I think he is in the states.
He doesn't really like to go to China, so I'm told.

In other news we will be ditching the chat we were using for years.
All the browsers are not getting along with Java.
So there could be a new chat or an old ustream chat !!!
